The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Health of Colombia, Mali and the Philippines announced the launch of the Solidarity Trial Vaccines program.

These candidate vaccines are selected by an independent vaccine professional evaluation team, the team members are second to none scientists and experts.
So far, the Vaccine Priority Advisory Group has reviewed the evidence for about 20 candidate vaccines; after the working group’s recommendations, there are now 2 candidate vaccines included in the solidarity trial vaccines program, namely the MVC protein subunit vaccine and Inovio Pharmaceuticals vaccine in the United States.
