In a recent statement, Russia’s Defence Minister boldly declared Ukraine’s military resources are ‘almost exhausted.’ There is an inherent issue with this information, however. It’s simply not true.
If Russia entirely dominated Ukraine, we could believe him. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s military continues to show fierce resistance. So, this contradicts his claim. There’s more to the story, though.
Hidden in the Defence Minister’s statement was another big claim. He said his country had ended Western military dominance. That’s a significant charge. It implies that Russia has surpassed the military strength of the collective West. It’s a questionable claim at best.
Yet, potential trouble lies ahead. Suppose Ukraine’s military resources become critically depleted. In that case, the U.S. and Europe have already committed to sending economic and military aid.
