As for those returning to Japan from the 14 countries or regions where the Omicron epidemic has occurred, they must be strictly quarantined in facilities designated by the Japanese government.
Japan just relaxed its border controls in response to the COVID-19 epidemic on November 8, allowing foreign short-term business travelers, international students, and technical intern trainees to enter. It will soon suspend new entry applications from midnight on the 30th.
