Brady Bunch’s Star, Barry Williams, just entered DWTS for a nostalgic performance on Tuesday night. The fans were thrilled, and Williams didn’t disappoint. He teamed up with his partner, Peta Murgatroyd, to dance an excellent foxtrot routine.
They elected to dance to “It’s a Sunshine Day.” It’s one of the classic songs from The Brady Bunch, which aired back in 1972. The song surfaced on their third studio album, “The Kids from the Brady Bunch.” It was also part of a Season 4 episode, dubbed “Amateur Nite.”
To top it off, Maureen McCormick was in the ballroom cheering them on. McCormick played Marcia Brady on the show, and she has a special place in her heart for Williams. So, she shared a photo with Williams on social media while they sang the “Sunshine” track. She wrote, “Wishing the loveliest fellow all the best tonight on DWTS!!! Gooo Barry!!! xoxo”
But there’s a more significant reason why Tuesday night was special. It marked the 54th year since ABC premiered The Brady Bunch. Williams, after Florence Henderson’s death, became the oldest surviving cast member
