The D2 Armor Picker is a great tool for helping you choose the best armor for your characters. It allows the player to see the stats of each piece of armor, and compare them side-by-side, then you may make the best decision for your build. There are a few things to keep in mind when using this tool, however. Here are some nice tips to help you get the most out of it.
The first step is to make sure you have the latest version of the game. You can check by looking in the bottom left-hand corner of the title screen for the number “2.0.0.” If it is not up to that number, you will need to update your game.
Once you have verified that you are playing the latest version of the game, you will need to go into the settings and select “API Access.” From there, you will need to input your Bungie.net login credentials and then select “Authorize.” After that, simply close out the settings and return to the game.
The next step is to open up D2 Armor Picker by selecting it from the “Tools” drop-down menu. After it is open, you will see a variety of armor displayed. At the top of the window, you will see tabs for each character that you have linked with your Bungie account. If you have not linked any characters yet, you can do so by clicking on “Link Character” under “Account Settings” in D2 Armor Picker.
Once you have selected a tab for a character, you will see a variety of armor displayed in four categories: Chest, Legs, Arms, and Helmet. The armor displayed will be based on what is currently equipped on that character and what is available in your inventory. You can also filter the armor by type by selecting from the “Type” drop-down menu.
If you want to learn more about an armor piece, simply select it, and information about its stats and perks will be displayed in the lower half of the window. Additionally, if you hover over an image of an armor piece with your cursor, a tooltip will pop up displaying its stats and perks.
You can also add armor pieces to your favorites by selecting the heart icon next to an armor piece’s thumbnail image. Favorited armor pieces will be displayed at the top of each category tab.
To equip an armor piece on a character, simply click on its thumbnail image, and it will be equipped on that character instantly. If an armor piece is not available in your inventory, it will be grayed out and cannot be equipped.
If at any time you want to unequip an armor piece from a character, simply select it and click on the trashcan icon that appears. The armor piece will be removed and placed back in your inventory.
That’s all that is needed to know about using the D2 Armor Picker tool. With these tips in mind, you should be able to find the best armor for your characters quickly and easily. Happy hunting!
