Cause:
At the causes which traditional Chinese medicine considers are as follows:
1. Heart and kidney intersected failure:
The human body is based on kidney qi. The kidney qi is sufficient to help the heart, which is for the heart and kidney to intersect; while the kidney qi is insufficient, there is no way to nourish the heart, and it is fail to communicate for the heart and kidney to intersect. In the theory of Chinese medicine, the heart governs the spirit, is responsible for managing the person’s subjective consciousness. If the heart does not get the energy supply of the kidney qi, it will become weak and difficult to support high-intensity thinking. Therefore, if people’s heart is weak, they will unconsciously choose to avoid or delay when facing things that require effort, because there is not so much energy to support.

2. More wet and spleen weak:
The body of many people with procrastination are with very damp, because the spleen governs the muscles, and the muscles accumulate moisture, which makes it difficult to move and does not want to move. People with severe procrastination, going to the toilet and drinking water, would rather stay self thirsty than move. This is typical. Less activity can cause accumulation of moisture and spleen and stomach deficiency. Inactivity, the function of the spleen and stomach will decline, which is an automatic mediation of the body, because the body finds that it does not need to consume so much, so it reduces the function to adapt to the life attitude that you give. So if we want to solve this problem, we must be active. People who are accustomed to activities, let him stay there for a few days, but he can’t stand, because the spleen and stomach movement is the normal mode at this time.
The treatment should be to invigorate the spleen and dehumidify: Poria, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Rhizoma Atractylodis, etc.
