Apple only sells a few models of iPhone, and with iPhone 13 a hit, it will be hard for yours to stand out. Aside from a few color options and bigger Plus/Max phones, each iPhone is about the same.
Even though you can’t customize the iPhone 13 as much as you can with an Android, you can still make it more unique. Here are a few ways you can make your iPhone 13 your own.
1.Get a Personalized Case or Skin
Putting a case or skin on your iPhone 13 is the easiest way to change how it looks. Because the iPhone 13 is so popular, you can find thousands of different cases on Amazon, eBay, and in stores.
You could put a skin on your phone instead of a case if you don’t like having a case on it. These let you wrap your phone tightly in a material that makes it easier to hold, protects it from fingerprints, and looks good while doing it. They are harder to put on than a case, but you can customize them in a lot more ways.
You can buy more things for your phone than just cases and skins, of course.
2.Set a Unique Wallpaper
When it comes to software customization, you should put a cool wallpaper on your phone. Everyone is familiar with Apple’s default wallpaper, so setting your own will give your device a new look.
To set a new wallpaper, go to Settings > Wallpaper > Choose a New Wallpaper. You can choose one of the ones that come with iOS or look through your own photos to find one you took. Once you’ve decided, you can turn on Perspective if you want the wallpaper to change as you tilt your device.
Last, choose whether you want that wallpaper on your Home screen, Lock screen, or both. This lets you set two different backgrounds—one to show off and one that might be more personal.
3.Change Your Ringtone and Your Text Tone
How often have you heard the default iPhone ringtone in public? People often reach for their phones at the same time you do because no one knows if it’s their phone or not.
There is no reason to use the same ringtone as everyone else. You can choose from the ringtones that come with your phone or, with a little work, make your own. Go to Settings > Sounds and then tap Ringtone to see the options.
You can also change your Text Tone, New Mail sound, and other sounds from this page. At the top of each one is a section called “Vibration,” where you can choose from different vibration patterns. You can even make your own vibration patterns if you want.
Not happy with any of the factory ringtones? You can buy more from Apple’s iTunes store.
4.Upload Your Picture
The three points above are pretty obvious big changes you can make, but iOS also gives you other small ways to make it your own. One of them is adding a picture to your contact card and the information page for your Apple ID.
When you go to Settings, your photo will be at the top of the page. This takes you to the settings for your Apple ID account, where you can change your payment options, manage your devices, and get information about iCloud.
If you’ve already set a photo for your Apple ID on another Apple device or the iCloud website, you’ll see it here. To change this (or add one for the first time), click your name at the top of Settings and then tap your current profile photo. Tap Take Photo to take a new one with your camera, or tap Choose Photo to upload one from your phone.
Open the Contacts app to add your photo to your contact card. At the top, where it says “My Card,” you should see your name and profile picture. Tap this, then click Edit in the top right corner of the page. Lastly, choose your profile photo to take a new one with the camera, upload a new one, change the one you already have, or get rid of it.
5.Customize the Control Center and Widgets
Control Center is a menu with several useful toggles and options all in one place. It’s useful out of the box, but it really shines when you customize it to hold the tools you use most.
If you don’t know, you can get to the Control Center on an iPhone X or later by swiping down from the top right corner of the screen. On an iPhone 8 or older, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
Look at it by going to Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls. We’ve already talked about how to change the Control Center.
Widgets on the Today View give you quick access to information from apps. This lets you call your favorite contacts or see your next calendar event, for example. Swipe to the right on your Home screen to get to the Today View screen on the far left.
6.Create Your Own Home Screen
There are no other launchers for iOS like there are for Android, so you have to use the grid-based icon layout. But your Home screen gives you more room than you might think to be creative.
7.Download Apps
Another way to personalize your iPhone 13 is by downloading apps that you can use in daily tasks. They can be games, productivity apps, streaming apps or security apps to safeguard your iPhone. For security apps you can download a VPN like VeePN (check out here) that ensures absolute security for your iPhone and data. VeePN ensures security at all times, especially if you are away from trusted wifi and need to connect to a public wifi. VeePN acts like a barrier to others accessing your iPhone through cracked apps.
Even while personalizing your new iPhone 13, make sure that you are downloading trusted apps like VeePN. People can check review to learn more about it.
We’ve talked about a few fun ways to add some personality to your iPhone 13. By doing this, your iPhone 13 will be different from the thousands of other iPhone 13s out there. We hope that some of these ways of expressing yourself are fun for you.
If you “jailbreak” your iPhone, you can do almost anything with it. But jailbreaking isn’t worth the trouble anymore. It gives you too many security risks, and many tweaks that used to be possible only with jailbreaking are now available to everyone. Instead of jailbreaking, you can install a VPN security app like VeePN to take your iPhone 13 security up a notch.
